Sitting with over 25 years of administering transportation for healthcare members, we could see an evolving need for a monumental change. And given this need, over the last two years American Logistics has re-imagined the transportation management model to enable a seamless workflow for any member population, from all demographics and areas that may need access to quality healthcare. We started this transformation with extensive research on the members’ experience in our newly designed workflows and refined our approach until we landed with successful solutions. Along with a new technology platform and infrastructure (built on AWS) these changes include new methods of escalation, communication and compliance and we have created meaningful defining member moments for those special occasions, like someone’s last cancer treatment. We are proud that 99% of our managed trips go off without a hitch but it’s the 1% that we aggressively focus on — we can’t let any member’s experience fall short.
