What differentiates American Logistics from traditional transportation brokers?
American Logistics is not a traditional transportation broker. We contract with and transmit trip offers directly to established transportation providers. This direct model includes Transportation Network Company/rideshare through our American Logistics/Rideshare System Integration.
As a result, we can offer our clients a tremendous value proposition – non-emergency medical transport services coordination and case management solutions that lower the overall cost of care, provide exceptional performance, and deliver real-time reporting and visibility from the moment a vehicle is confirmed, to the trip, through the drop-off of the member at their destination.
How do Rideshare companies like Uber play a part in American Logistics’ coordination and management of non-emergency medical transport services?
American Logistics’ business relationship with Uber Health results in an unmatched level of access to millions of healthcare plan members. Through our business relationship with Uber Health, healthcare organizations can now provide smarter non-emergency medical transport services, scheduling, real-time GPS tracking, and messaging through one unified platform.
What software does American Logistics offer to help manage transportation benefits?
As part of our complete, purpose-built transportation benefit management system, we offer a web-based application for health care staff or a white-labeled mobile app for members. We also have other SMS based methods for members that opt not to use the mobile technology.
Can plan members book trips directly through your software platform?
TripKit includes a complete reservation process. Reservations entered via this software are fully guided, and all parameters and guidelines set by the health plan are fully enforced. This includes ensuring the member is eligible for the trip on the date it is scheduled, validating that the trip is covered by the available benefit, and verifying that the trip parameters are compliant with all other parameters (maximum trip length, approved location, service area, etc.).
TripKit is fully compliant with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and has been designed from the ground up for usability and efficiency. The software is also fully secure, and compliant with all SOC2 standards. This is the exact same software used by our agents internally, allowing a full-service experience to be delivered by anyone a health plan decides to make it available to.
